After spending so much time telling us how wonderful SOAP is because it can use HTTP as a transport protocol, Microsoft are now convinced that HTTP isn't the way of the future. According to Don Box, a developer for .NET, HTTP is no good for RPC and P2P services.
Well, duh. It isn't exactly news that the HyperText Transfer Protocol is only really good for transferring hypertext.
