The Lost Realm

In the grand tradition of Cat Scan (which has seemingly gone AWOL), and in the spirit of proving that the some people have way too much free time: Bunny Scan.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the Interwebberynet has everything you could want (and more).

Note to self: spend more time learning origami to produce cool things like these. I have absolutely no idea how anyone could design the folds to produce these, let alone actually execute them. I expect it requires considerable patience and concentration, two things that I am lacking as of late.

In the meantime, I'll just think about purchasing an origami boulder. You never know when you'll need one of those.

Today's bonus puzzle: one of the previous paragraphs is about seriously impressive art, while the other is a complete joke; can you tell which is which?

Things that are not conducive to a good night's sleep:

• Someone setting fire to a fallen tree in the park just outside your bedroom window.
• The fire engine arriving to put out the tree (this is your fault as you did call 000).
• A cat jumping from the bathroom sink against the window, knocking everything on the windowsill to the floor in a vain attempt to catch a moth. This happens just as you doze off.
• The same cat knocking everything to the floor again 15 minutes later. This happens just as you doze off.
• The same cat knocking everything to the floor again 10 minutes later and then running about the house like a maniac while you jump around like an idiot to catch the moth and throw it out the back door (into the smokey park).
• Drunken idiots in the park, fighting and swearing at 3am (possibly over who put out their lovely fire).
• A small child that wakes up at the crack of dawn, full of giggles and energy (having slept soundly through the night's “entertainment”).
