For years, we've hoped to see live giant squid. Dead specimens wash up on beaches or get caught in nets every now and then, but until now, no one has ever seen a live giant squid. A team of researchers went looking and managed to find 14 baby giant squid. They then decided to capture the squid, which, unsuprisingly, ended with the deaths of all 14 babies within hours.
