Was Shakepeare nothing but a front man? Did Christopher Marlowe really fake his death to avoid being tortured for his homosexuality and continue to publish his works under Shakespeare's name?

For once, this is a conspiracy theory that doesn't fall apart after five minutes. I'm not sure that NASA faked the moon landing, but it is possible that Shakespeare might not have been the person behind some of my favourite works of art.
