For those of us that were distracted by the light sabers, there was a strange looking link at the end of the Espisode II trailer. LucasFilm have created a news site set at the time of Episode II.

The fake advertisements are worth looking at, as are the planetary weather reports, but I'm really not sure that HTML and GIF images were invented “a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away”.
