Things learned this morning:
- Always look in the shower before reaching in and turning the water on.
- Cats seem to run fastest when wet (this deserves further research at some point).
- Pulling a wet cat out from under a piece of furniture will no doubt cause it to make unhappy noises.
- Unhappy noises will attract Genghis, the house's head cat. He will be confused and upset about what is going on.
- A confused upset Genghis will typically result in a bitten arm and several hits to any nearby wet cat.
- Drying a wet, swearing cat with a towel is a great way of getting more unhappy noises (and causing Genghis to hit it again).
As a side effect of this morning, Arwen is looking exceptionally clean and fluffy.
